Eel Sallad can be best categorized as Pacific Northwest Americana Rock - with influences ranging from rock to reggae, from classical to grunge. They can sound like a folksy rock band when acoustic, or a fun grunge band when the drum kit and electric instruments come out. Tonight, they are joined by Wood Butcher! Wood Butcher’s style leans towards rocky-folk/psych-rock with earthy lyrics that transport you to a deep forest campfire dancing with the creatures of the night. Influenced by bands like All Them Witches, Shakey Graves and the Decemberists with a story telling, dark-folk, witchy vibe that inspires everyone to move. $10

Blending roots from across Latin America with fresh influences, the band creates a sound that is both authentic and dynamic. With musicians and audiences from diverse backgrounds, Barrio Mestizo turns every performance into a celebration where everyone's invited to dance, listen and enjoy themselves in their own way. José Rioseco is a Chilean born musician who brings an emotional collection of songs into an exciting performance. Centering the Spanish guitar but blending elements from Latin and Spanish music with synth pop as well as contemporary Latin singer/songwriter, his show is both dynamic and energetic, emotional and entertaining. $15
Seattle's Grace Love is a vocalist, storyteller and founder of Soul Pantry and Soul Sessions, where food, music, and community meet. Super Secret Band has become a goodfoot staple. Their blazing live shows touch on rock, dark jazz, blues and funk with ambient jams that drop into dance floor burners effortlessly. Tonight they are joined by Mr. Relish, a dj/saxophonist of high order! $10
Anjali and The Incredible Kid first introduced Portland dance floors to the sounds of Bollywood and Bhangra in 2000, but it was not until July of 2002 that they founded a party dedicated exclusively to featuring the sounds of the desi diaspora. ANDAZ was an instant success and many thought the success was a fad. The party started as the Truth Hurts song "Addictive," featuring a prominent sample of the Bollywood song "Thoda Resham Lagta Hai," was making its way up the charts to a peak of #9. This was one year before a Jay-Z remix of Panjabi MC's Bhangra track "Mundian To Bach Ke" reached the US Top 40. This was five years before MIA covered the Bollywood song "Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Aaja," and made use of South Indian soundtrack percussion players to create the dense rhythms of several of the tracks on her Kala album. This was seven years before Slumdog Millionaire won 8 Academy Awards and grossed $140 million dollars at the North American box office, with a soundtrack by the Bollywood composer A.R Rahman that one two Oscars, reached #4 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and topped the Billboard Top Electronic Albums twice, once knocking Lady Gaga out of the top spot after a twelve-week run. $13
After nine years, Brett's House Party is finally releasing their debut album - Hunker Down! We're celebrating the album release at their home venue (and where the album was recorded)-- the goodfoot. Joining before and in between their sets will be local techno legend leeonn. Expect nearly five hours of continuous music (starting as soon as the doors open at 9pm)! Led by bassist Brett McConnell since 2017, the band features a unique sound of electronic drums, multiple synths, two basses, lap steel guitar, and the inimitable Aniana on vocals. BHP’s live show emulates a house DJ’s sets with nonstop music and minimal tempo variations. Every set is completely different, yet always relentless. The most impressive part? It's 100% improvised! leeonn is a dj, creative director, and community organizer whose sound traces hypnotic and emotional undercurrents. Their sets, whether downtempo or high energy and ravey, move with feeling; gathering rolling drums, foggy layers, and hazy grooves bending time across genres. They are a co-organizer and director of PNW campout Canyon Vibration. $12
Moon Music is the love child of guitarist Dan Duval and saxophonist/singer Chelsea Luker. Both artists have spent their lifetime devoted to jazz, funk and rock. Now they present to you music from the cosmos, filled with delay driven ambience and dreamy melodies. Tonight they are joined by vocalist Aniana and multi-instrumental wiz, Brett McConnell, who will be playing lap steel and maybe even a little bass! $10
Keep It Cool with these two Portland DJ institutions, equally at home behind the turntables as they are behind the record store counter. Goodfoot regulars know Brad Vachal as one of the Soul Stew DJs, while others know him from Portland's halcyon rave days or his years at Platinum Records. A neighborhood fixture in his own right, Maxx Bass runs the crate-digger's paradise, Clinton Street Record & Stereo, and for over 20 years, has kept dance floors moving everywhere from Oaks Park to Pickathon to the legendary Strutt. Pulling from their sizable collections, they'll serve up a boundary-free, genre-fluid mix of old and new, timeless classics and hidden gems, blending organic and electronic sounds into one ecstatic, all-night dance-floor jam. $8 pre-sale, $10 at the door.
Go on a trip through cloud castles and rivers of rainbows with Flying Caravan as they bring together psychedelic melodies, deep grooves, and celestial rhythms. Taking inspiration from 70's psychedelic rock bands and funk jazz fusion, their fantastical lyricism and serendipitous instrumental interplay spiral into a dance of enchanting delights. Flying Caravan’s second studio album, Connected We Are, is out now! Let's fly to new heights! Summoning ghostly sounds of the wild American West to conjur a specter of their own, the five piece Temple Grandin plays outlaw honky tonk punk rock n roll with an extra-traditional country soul. $10
Lesser Bangs was a staple on the Portland live music scene in the 2010's. Forged in 2012 by keyboardist Adam King (Garcia Birthday Band) and guitarist Sean DeGregorio, LBs was a springboard for their like-minded but unique take on rock and pop fusing in harmonic splendor. After being sidelined by the pandemic, and then further wounded by the departure and passing of drummer Justin Birge, Lesser Bangs haven't performed since 2019. They'll play first this evening (9-10:30). The time has finally come to once again say hello and then say goodbye. This one-night only gig will feature Adam, Scott and bassist Scott DeWitt reuniting to slay some of their beloved originals and celebrate the bonds of music and existence. Let's laugh, let's cry, let's shred and boogie. They'll be joined by The Jack McGrane Band (Bodhi Mojo), who will hold down the closing spot (10:45-?). JMB features lead guitarist and singer for Portland's own Bodhi Mojo, Jack McGrane, and a unique ensemble of Portland's most talented musicians finding new avenues to channel joyful exploration and dancefloor celebration. $10
It's Last Thursday and time for another goodfoot art opening! DJ Welly Well will keep the vibes right and the energy high throughout the affair. As always, the event is free, all art is available for purchase and the drinks will be just right! FREE!

Their supercharged sensuality invites the audience to join them in releasing all inhibition, surrendering to the music, and letting the seduction of dance take the reins. $10
