After nine years, Brett’s House Party is finally releasing their debut album – Hunker Down! We‘re celebrating the album release at their home venue (and where the album was recorded)— the goodfoot. Joining before and in between their sets will be local techno legend leeonn. Expect nearly five hours of continuous music (starting as soon as the doors open at 9pm) !
Led by bassist Brett McConnell since 2017, the band features a unique sound of electronic drums, multiple synths, two basses, lap steel guitar, and the inimitable Aniana on vocals. BHP’s live show emulates a house DJ’s sets with nonstop music and minimal tempo variations. Every set is completely different, yet always relentless. The most impressive part? It’s 100% improvised!
leeonn is a dj, creative director, and community organizer whose sound traces hypnotic and emotional undercurrents. Their sets, whether downtempo or high energy and ravey, move with feeling; gathering rolling drums, foggy layers, and hazy grooves bending time across genres. They are a co-organizer and director of PNW campout Canyon Vibration. $12
