Hilarious, ignant, and the best sort of mess, Portland-based comedian MX. DAHLIA BELLE has been compared to a Swiss Army knife - different tools to extract sharpness, softness, vulnerability, hope, and wicked wit. Her writing has been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, The Guardian, The Stranger and Portland Mercury. As a public speaker, she has been a repeat guest on NPR, CBC, XRAY FM, and Portland Radio Project (PRP). Her live performances have included NW Black Comedy Festival, Upper Left Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest and an awkward conversation with John Waters and Piers Morgan. Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher and DJ Bholt, is back with hilarious headliner, Pallavi Gunalan. Pallavi is a stand-up comedian, writer and biomedical engineer. She has written for Lovett or Leave It with Crooked Media, has been featured on Dropout TV and produces Facial Recognition Comedy, a monthly stand-up show at The Comedy Store in LA. She most recently was featured in Big Pine Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest, and has opened for comedians such as Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall and Maria Bamford. Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher, has a special St. Patrick's Day show lined up! Get ready for a night of laughs with headliner Ben Harkins and a stellar lineup of comedians! Public access legend Ben Harkins is a Portland based comic. His unsweetened perspective and deadpan delivery have made him an audience favorite throughout the PNW. His irreverent material attacks everything from the cost of groceries to the extinction of species. Harkins won the Portland's Funniest person contest at Helium and was voted #1 in Willamette Weeks Funniest Five. He is a regular host at Helium and has performed in the Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest and Savage Henry Comedy festivals, among others. Harkins has opened for many pros including Paulie Shore, Beth Stelling, Kyle Kinane, Joe List, Nick Thune and Louis Katz. He hosts Chill N Fill Comedy every Thursday 8pm. He also directed and produced a hit Soap Opera called Intrigue- Public Access Soap Opera. Known for her unique observations, witty puns and social commentary. She was named one of the funniest comedians in Portland by both Willamette Week and Portland Mercury and praised for her comedy by Katt Williams and Vulture Magazine. She has opened for Roy Woods Jr., Nicole Byer, Josh Johnson, Maria Bamford and many more. Monday’s lineup also includes comedians Carly Ballerini, Hunter Austin, & Nariko Ott (Portland’s Funniest Person winner). $10

Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher and DJ Bholt, returns with an hilarious line-up featuring headliner, Tyler Boeh! Tyler established himself early in his career by placing in the finals of three of the most prestigious comedy competitions in the country: The Seattle International, San Francisco International and the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. With past appearances on “NESN Comedy All-Stars”, “Celebrity Name Game”, and two seasons of “Laughs on Fox”, Tyler has laid the groundwork for his growing success. In 2018 Tyler’s second album, “Full Circle” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Comedy Charts and he was selected as the SiruisXM 98 Artist of the Month. 2018 also brought the release of Tyler’s first Dry Bar Comedy special “Wait for it” which garnered millions of views online. In 2023 Tyler returned to Dry Bar to film his second special titled “Upgraded” which was released across multiple platforms in February of 2024. Brandon is a comedian who grew up on the West coast and now lives in Portland. He does stand-up. Mostly light-hearted stuff about pop culture and race in America (that can be light-hearted, right?). He has opened for comedy greats such as Katt Williams, Bobby Lee, and Godfrey and hosts nights at Al's den, the longest running weekly show in Portland! Geoff Tate has appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and regularly tours with Tom Segura, Doug Benson and Doug Stanhope. He made his television debut on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and has been a podcast guest on WTF with Marc Maron, Your Mom’s House with Tom Segura, The Todd Glass Show, BertCast, The Doug Stanhope Podcast, and Doug Loves Movies. Geoff has performed at music and comedy festivals like Bonnaroo and South by Southwest. $10

Sean is a touring stand up comedian and podcaster who has appeared on Comedy Central, The Late Late Show with James Corden and who Paste Magazine calls “both genuine and genuinely hilarious.” He co-hosts the wildly popular podcast All Fantasy Everything, the show where funny people and experts come together to fantasy draft pop culture, from music to movies to sandwiches. His latest stand up comedy album Girl Dad, available from A Special Thing Records, is a raw, honest and hilarious special documenting the birth of his daughter, the IVF that preceded it, the vasectomy that followed, and all points between. His newest podcast It’s Nice to Be Nice explores how someone “being nice” made a difference in the lives of his guests.
