OUR ETHOS: We believe in mutual respect, humility and kindness, both personally and musically. Our house band has come together to make this happen; musicians from different walks of life have joined forces to create a welcoming jamming space that also pushes musicians to bring their best. The house band is: Mani Striffolino, Owen Lowe (bass), Kyle Merrifield (tenor saxophone), Josh Makosky (guitar) Crystal Staley (vocals), and José Rioseco (drums). Our system revolves around our setlist and structured jams around these songs. The event is split in 2 sections. The first hour or so of our event is open for anyone to join the list and come up and play in free form jam style. However, after the first hour, the house band will take the stage and you’ll get a chance to join us! Feel invited to sit in with the band, and either call a song from our setlist or request a jam with the band and we’ll set you up! It’s as simple as that. You get a month to prepare the solo of your dreams, you can choose the song you prefer, and then you can join us and throw it down! How cool is that? Just remember we don’t take requests outside of the setlist. No exceptions 😉 We might not always be able to accommodate everyone depending on attendance. We suggest coming in early if you’re interested in playing with the house band. Remember that while we’re trying to have as many musicians as possible to come through, this is first and foremost a performance. We try to keep intermissions between songs as short as possible, and we appreciate your help!
