Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher and DJ Bholt, is back with headliner Seth Allen! Seth performs regularly at Helium Comedy Club and at festivals around the country including Bumbershoot, Treefort, Pickathon and SF Sketchfest. He was named one of Portland’s “Funniest Five” in the Willamette Week and co-hosts a popular weekly podcast about comedy and friendship. We're excited to welcome PDX psychedelia purveyors, Lost Ox, to the lounge for our April Tuesday residency! Lost Ox, known for combining elements of funk, jazz, Americana and progressive rock, was formed in 2017. The band began as a musical friendship between bassist Reed Bunnell and guitarist Dylan DiSalvio that was forged in the Lewis & Clark College Jazz Studies program in 2011. What started as a psychedelic folk and blues rock band incubated and grew in the vibrant Portland music scene, and developed into a genre-blending musical adventure. The band has carved out its niche, crafting unique long-form classical influenced progressive rock songs with exciting and highly creative improvisational sections. $5 and up sliding scale.
For many years, Thirsty City was our monthly beats showcase. Hosted by Slurgeon, the night featured 5 of the city's best producer/dj's unveiling their newest tracks. After a stint on the Continent, he's back for a reunion gig tonight with plenty of new tracks! $10

Adam is a standup comedian, writer, and actor based out of Seattle. He was featured at the 2025 Great American Comedy Festival, 2025 Bumbershoot, 2025 San Francisco Comedy Competition and the 2022 Seattle International Comedy Competition. He has featured for Comedians Dan Soder, Big Jay Oakerson, Dave Landau and Brendan Schaub. He has also opened for Comedians Kevin Nealon, Jay Mohr and Ari Shaffir. Led by bassist Brett McConnell since 2017, Brett's House Party features a unique sound of electronic drums, multiple synths, two basses, lap steel guitar, and the inimitable Aniana on vocals. BHP’s live show emulates a house DJ’s sets with nonstop music and minimal tempo variations. Every set is completely different, yet always relentless. And the most impressive part? Dyke Pool presents Off the Felt, a dance event at The Goodfoot (Downstairs) for the queer community and allies. The night features two DJs playing back-to-back sets from 8 PM to 12am. The event aims to provide a safe, fun and energetic space for dancing, community and celebration. $10
