Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher, has a special St. Patrick's Day show lined up! Get ready for a night of laughs with headliner Ben Harkins and a stellar lineup of comedians! Public access legend Ben Harkins is a Portland based comic. His unsweetened perspective and deadpan delivery have made him an audience favorite throughout the PNW. His irreverent material attacks everything from the cost of groceries to the extinction of species. Harkins won the Portland's Funniest person contest at Helium and was voted #1 in Willamette Weeks Funniest Five. He is a regular host at Helium and has performed in the Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest and Savage Henry Comedy festivals, among others. Harkins has opened for many pros including Paulie Shore, Beth Stelling, Kyle Kinane, Joe List, Nick Thune and Louis Katz. He hosts Chill N Fill Comedy every Thursday 8pm. He also directed and produced a hit Soap Opera called Intrigue- Public Access Soap Opera. Monday’s lineup also includes comedians Jeremiah Coughlan, Rio Hillman, Brent Lowrey, Brendan Creecy, and Rachael Young! $10
