LAUGH BASEMENT STAND-UP COMEDY SHOWCASE (7pm Doors)

Laugh Basement, our weekly stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Hewitt Pagenstecher and DJ Bholt, is back with headliner & Portland's Funniest Person contest winner Ben Harkins! Ben's unsweetened perspective and deadpan delivery have made him an audience favorite throughout the PNW. His irreverent material attacks everything from the cost of groceries to the extinction of species. Harkins won the Portland's Funniest person contest at Helium and was voted #1 in Willamette Weeks Funniest Five. He is a regular host at Helium and has performed in the Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest and Savage Henry Comedy festivals, among others. Harkins has opened for many pros including Paulie Shore, Joe List, Matt Braunger and Tik-Toks Pearlmania 5000. He hosts Chill N Fill Comedy every Thursday 8pm. He also directed and produced a hit Soap Opera called Intrigue- Public Access Soap Opera. Monday’s lineup also includes comics Cameron Peloso (2023 Portland’s Funniest winner), Elijah Mang, Oliva Jokes, and Gabby Poccia! $10
