Rachel Jones

I currently live in Portland and am focused on creating art that feels contemporary while reflecting and honoring my influences from the past. I consider Untitled I-III a set of paintings that positively contribute to one another as well as stand strong individually. I focused on keeping my brushstrokes active, juxtaposing bright colors with muted colors, and creating a movement within in each piece.
