I formulate an idea and execute the idea the best I can. Sometimes the idea is being formulated and fabricated as I'm working on the idea. Ideas are paramount in my work. To me, the word "idea" sums up everything about my art. Many people who see my art say, "I have no idea what that's supposed to mean." This is fine with me, it's my idea and ideas are not universally inclusive. The greatest compliment I can receive is when a viewer says, "The very idea, that is outrageous!"
